Common questions
Where is Dusk after I open it?
Dusk lives in the menu bar: look for the moon at the top right of your screen. It has no Dock icon. Click the moon for controls, or open Settings from there.
How do I start Dusk when I log in?
Open Dusk's Settings > General and turn on Open at login. If macOS asks, allow Dusk in System Settings > General > Login Items.
The colours look too warm, or change twice.
Turn off Night Shift (System Settings > Displays > Night Shift) and True Tone, so they don't stack with Dusk.
Sunset and sunrise times are wrong.
Check that Location Services is on for Dusk in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, or type your coordinates into Dusk's Schedule settings.
How do I switch it off quickly?
Press Control, Option, Command and D from any app, or pause it from the menu bar for an hour, three hours or until morning.
How do I get my normal colours back?
Switch Dusk off from the menu bar, or quit it. Your display returns to normal straight away.
